Prometeon, a tire manufacturer under Sinochem Holdings, showcased its exceptional capabilities in helping the Czech driver Martin Macík secure victory in the Truck category at the 47th Dakar Rally, which wrapped up in Saudi Arabia on January 17.

With a route covering 7,700 kilometers, including 5,100 km of timed sections split into a prologue, 12 stages, a 48-hour special chrono stage and a marathon stage without technical assistance, the 47th Dakar Rally proved to be the world’s most demanding race.

The Prometeon S02 rally tires, built to tackle tough conditions, were instrumental in Macík and his team's impressive victory over the second-placed team, who trailed by 2 hours and 21 minutes. They dominated with wins in 10 out of 12 stages, excelling on both sand and rock.
