The UK-China industry dialogue series on agricultural technology was recently hosted in Weifang, Shandong. The event was jointly organized by the British Embassy in China and the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province. A cooperation framework agreement was signed during the event between Sinochem Agriculture MAP's Huantai Technical Service Center and the UK-based agricultural company Claydon for the demonstration of winter wheat planting without tillage.

Under the agreement, both parties will leverage their strengths to jointly advance no-till winter wheat planting technology in Shandong, contributing to the agricultural industrialization of the province and the Huang-Huai-Hai region.

Founded in 1970, Claydon is a leading brand in Europe's no-till seeding sector. Its flagship product, the no-till strip seeder, significantly boosts agricultural productivity by reducing soil disturbance, preserving soil structure, and retaining moisture.
