Museums symbolize a cultural carrier for the civilization of a country. Various museums have emerged to promote economic development. But there are few museums that highlight development of the Chinese chemical industry, and protect its related heritage ChemChina invested nearly 10 million yuan to open the first chemical museum in the nation in 2008. Chemical Industry Museum of China exhibits its developmental history that include eight exhibition halls and more than 6,000 exhibits.

It has been operating for over four years with multiple functions such as exhibiting an encyclopedia, educational base and communications platform, received nearly 10,000 visitors, and highly regarded by the government and colleges.
